Coating Division was set up at the time when we established business relations with Du Pont, U.S. for sales of their epoch making coating 「DUCO」 in 1927. This is our starting point.
We concluded exclusive distributorship agreement with Union Carbide and Carbon Corp., of the United States in 1929. We have started sales of imported materials such as Cellosolve solvent, Tri-ethanol amine, Butanol etc.
Since 1950 we have started to import Polyethylene, and other chemical products, from EASTMAN CHEMICAL, a chemical division of EASTMAN KODAK. We expand dealing materials in accordance with their expansion of business line. We have started stock sales of cellulose line up and chemicals/resins. These products become important merchandise as same as DOW CHEMICAL's.
We also expand dealing raw materials of domestic excellent manufacturers. As "a technology and intelligence oriented company", we keep expanding trading with the excellent manufacturers.
We have expanded line up of International blue chip companies, other than Dow Chemicals, Eastman Chemicals and keep looking for new sources.
We have many sales staff around the world, who are in charge of coating business field as members of Global Coating Team.
We are pleased to support you to provide raw materials of coatings from Japan to overseas, and also from overseas to overseas.
This is our domestic and global network. Our fields are expanding from domestic business to worldwide coating field.
We can provide you appropriate domestic Logistic service using network of NAGASE LOGISTICS CO.,LTD. , as logistic core function.
As for exporting, we provide you NAGASE original consolidate service for hazardous cargo for Asia.
It makes our customers happy for cutting various document works and relative costs.
We support customers to develop new products with using our know-how stored for long time and laboratory facilities.
