DURANOL™ is a polycarbonatediol (PCD) developed by Asahi Kasei.
The polyurethane using DURANOL™ has excellent durability, hydrolysis resistance and chemical resistance, and contributes to improved performance of polyurethane products.
DURANOL™ offers a wide variety of applications such as paint, leather (synthetic leather, artificial leather, etc.), elastomer, and adhesive as a raw material of high-function polyurethane resins.
Asahi Kasei is a pioneer in copolymerization type PCD and has a product lineup of various copolymerized PCDs. Copolymerized PCD is basically liquid and easy to handle, and has superior chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, and durability compared to conventional homo-PCD.

MKC™ Sillicates is an oligomer obtained by hydrolytic condensation of tetramethoxysilane. By adding to solvent-based paints, you can get hydrophilic properties to the surface and self-cleaning effect. By mixing and aging with alcohol and water to form a sol solution, it can be used as a coating that imparts hardness, scratch resistance, and various other functions to substrates such as glass, metals, and resins.

UWR® is a new innovative High platform of Acrylic Emulsions, which are used by paint formulators to make premium weatherable water-based coatings. Coatings formulated with UWR emulsions can provide the Excellent Weathearability and Anti dirt properties (DPUR & Self-Cleaning) comparable to fluolocarbon paints. Outdoor exposure will break down almost all coatings causing them to chalk, fade, and discolor. Coatings based on UWR® EC series will withstand extended exposure to water, humidity, temperature extremes, ultraviolet rays and atmospheric pollutants. These coatings retain color, gloss and Anti-Dirt like no other conventional water-based coating.

DENACOL is a special epoxy compound in which hydroxyl groups or organic acids are converted into glycidyl ether or ester by making full use of Nagase ChemteX’s advanced organic synthesis technologies.
DENACOL is mainly used in coating field as for cross-linkers, diluents, flexibilizers and so on.

DENATRON is a conductive coating material of Type-P, developed based on a polythiophene-based conductive polymer named PEDOT:PSS, and Type-C, developed based on carbon nanotubes CNT.
When the conductivity is adjusted, DENATRON can be used in a wide range of applications, including antistatic layers (layers to prevent the accumulation of static electricity), transparent electrodes, and biomedical electrodes-based conductive coating that mitigates environmental burdens.
