Nagase & Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Hiroyuki Ueshima), in the events it has held as part of its sponsorship agreement with Andretti Formula E, which competes in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, implemented carbon offset initiatives equivalent to a total of 10 tons of CO2 emissions.
These initiatives demonstrate a concrete contribution to reducing environmental impact though activities that promote sustainability through Formula E, in line with Nagase & Co.’s sponsorship concept for Andretti: “Delivering next sustainability.” The greenhouse gases emitted generated by the events (CO2 equivalent) were carbon offset using J-Credits as part of the agreement Nagase & Co. has with the Town of Yusuhara in Kochi Prefecture for demonstrating forest credit creation .
