As for data boundaries, [Consolidated], [Group] and [Non-consolidated] are based on consolidated sales for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021 (100%).
However, the NAGASE Group has trading company, manufacturing and processing, and research and development functions. Gross profit by business type for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2021 was 41.7 billion yen (61%) for trading company (sales, etc.) and 27 billion yen (39%) for manufacturing and processing, totaling 68.7 billion yen.
Accordingly, the Group Manufacturing Companies data is based on the sales of manufacturing companies within the Group in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021, which are responsible for manufacturing and processing (100%) and calculates the sales of Nagase ChemteX Corporation and Hayashibara Co., Ltd. (66%). The [Group Manufacturing Industry Cooperation Committee] calculates the sales of 11 companies* within the Group (59%).
