Nagase Sanbio Co., Ltd. (Head-Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President, Toshihiro Sasaki), a wholly owned subsidiary of Nagase & Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Hiroyuki Ueshima) has announced the registration and handling of "PROBLAD SL*1," a plant-derived fungicide extracted from the sprouted seeds of edible sweet lupin, developed by CEV S.A. (Portugal; CEO: Hugo Batista), with the Japanese registration approval on March 26, 2025 (Pesticide Registration Number: 24957) .
Nagase Sanbio has been highly regarded by CEV S.A. for its commitment to developing and introducing environmentally friendly agricultural products. Consequently, Nagase Sanbio has been selected as the exclusive importer and distributor in Japan. The product will be available for sale around the spring of 2026, and Nagase Sanbio will work closely with pesticide manufacturers to promote sustainable agriculture .
